Louise
Tett
A recent Fine Art
graduate of John Moore’s University, Liverpool, Louise specialises
in sculpture, installation, print and book arts, often blurring the
boundaries between disciplines to produce emotionally evocative
works.
Her practice is informed
by her recent relocation to the South and deals with identity,
belonging and community; exploring the rituals and fragments that
make up our lives. The personal physical act of making is very
important to the work, as is her strong affinity to domestic
processes such as embroidery and paper making. Her works are
strongly conceptual linking materials, process, and text to produce
layers of meaning.
