Elizabeth Skeet
Elizabeth
Skeet studied Art History at Winchester School of Art as a mature
student and became interested in acquiring practical skills as a
result, so went on to study Art and Design with the Open College of
the Arts and then sculpture with Carole Vincent in Boscastle. She
has exhibited in Surrey, with the Boscastle Group in Cornwall and
the Garden Gallery in Hampshire.
Elizabeth’s work is mainly abstract. She is inspired by the shapes
created by movement and the structures of architecture and artefact
and prefers to work in metal. Her interest in metal extends to
making jewellery. |
