Ann Brazier
I
first came to sculpture by joining a class at the Tower Arts Centre
in Winchester about 10 years ago. I have always needed to be
creative and have drawn, painted, sewn and gardened for many years.
I love my garden and had bought one sculptural piece at vast expense
– not even an original but a good copy. I particularly like
original work.
I
realised that the only way I could have such objects was to have a
go myself. Then I found I was fascinated by the varied processes of
achieving a sculpture, and the continual learning curve handling
unfamiliar tools and materials is a true challenge.
